Tapbots, the developers of the third-party Twitter app Tweetbot, released a new update that added trackpad support to its iPad app.
This update was included in Version 5.2 of the app:
– Added trackpad support
– Added support for opening links in Opera, Edge and DuckDuckGo browsers
– Added option to open universal/deep links in apps that support them
– Tons of bug fixes
With the addition of trackpad support in its app, the finger gestures when using keyboards such as Apple’s new Magic Keyboard will now work in it.
A two-finger swipe opens the reply section of a tweet and a two-finger swipe to the left shows the details of a tweet.
Tweetbot is available on the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad and costs $4.99 in the App Store. There is also a Mac version that costs $9.99 in the Mac App Store.
