Today is the day of the Indy 500 at Indianapolis Motorspeedway in Indianapolis, Indiana.

This year, like with almost every single event this year, will be heavily impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. Fans are not allowed to attend the race this year.

For those that want to watch it live, they will be reliant on the TV network broadcasting it, which is NBC this year and begin at 2:30 p.m. ET.

Here is how you can stream the race this year:

  • Hulu with Live TV, YouTube TV and fuboTV: There’s a good chance that at least one of these services will enable you to watch the race on your local NBC station.

  • Locast: This a free service that enables users to stream their local TV stations for free. It is currently only available in select TV markets, but could be a way for some out there to stream the race for free this year.
The current TV markets Locast is available in
  • NBC app: With TV provider credentials, you can stream this race right from the NBC app.

  • NBC Sports app: Again, you will need TV provider credentials to stream this race live from the NBC Sports app.

All of the apps and services mentioned here are available on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.
