There are select businesses Apple Pay users have been waiting to get support for. These are typically popular businesses like Walmart and Home Depot.

Well, under business could potentially be flipping the switch when it comes to adding contactless support, which is what Apple Pay needs in order to work in retail stores.

According to a report from a user on FlyerTalk Forums, shows that O’Reilly Auto Parts, the user states they have been able to get contactless to work at the store.

His post states, “O’Rielley (O’Reilly) auto parts finally turned on contactless! Interface is now bland, just says ‘Insert/Swipe card’ with the emvco logo on a white screen.”

The user also posted a photo from their transaction, which shows proof that the contactless was accepted at their location.

The reason for O’Reilly Auto Parts potentially adding Apple Pay is not known, but it could be because its competitor, Auto Zone, does accept Apple Pay.

Even places where consumers get their oil changed, like Jiffy Lube, Valvoline Instant Oil Change and car dealerships where said consumers could buy car parts from are more so getting on board with Apple Pay and contactless payment methods to the point where O’Reilly is integrating it in its stores.

Another theory could be that the location the FlyerTalk Forum user went to is a test site for Apple Pay and contactless payment method consumption to see if the company should add it in the rest of its stores.

If the rumor is true, Apple Card users who pay from their iPhone or Apple Watch will get 2% in Daily Cash on each purchase they make in its stores.
