Shortly after pushing the second developer betas for iOS 15/iPadOS 15/watchOS 8 on June 30th, Apple has trailed them with the release of public betas as well. The public beta of macOS Monterey soon followed suit today, July 1st.
If you want to test out any of these public betas, I strongly recommend you use a secondary device, as you can expect performance and stability issues.
For instructions on installing the beta software, go to the Apple Beta Software Program’s website to sign up. There, you can download the appropriate profile on your respective device. That profile will then let Apple’s servers know that your device is capable of receiving beta updates.
After a larger group of the public get their hands on these operating systems, it will increase the efficiency of finding bugs, as well as stability issues (because, be aware, there will be some during this phase). This, in turn, will put Apple in a better position to release final versions that are stable and ready for all in the fall.
