Apple is just a few months away from announcing the next generation of its iPhone SE in the upcoming spring event. A new report from 91mobiles suggests that Apple has imported the unreleased iPhone, the baseline iPad, and a new iPad Air into India for testing purposes.

The reports also mentioned that imported iPhones had model numbers A2595, A2783, and A2784 with a $300 price. The new iPad Air has model numbers A2588 and A2589 and would cost $500 to $700. The entry-level iPad with model numbers A2757 and A2761 might carry a price tag of $300, as mentioned by 91mobiles.

Earlier this year, the Cupertino-based company filed for a new iPhone and multiple iPads in the Eurasian Economic Commission database. The model numbers of the devices provided by 91mobiles also match the ones filed in the EEC database by Apple. This was reported by a French site Consomac.

Earlier this year, Apple supplier Foxconn reportedly reopened its iPhone manufacturing facility in India on January 12. The Foxconn plant is located in Sriperumbudur, near Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu, which is also known as the “Detroit of Asia.”

The launch of the iPhone SE 3 is getting closer, as reports cite that the iPhone production is making significant progress and inching closer to a launch in either April or May of this year.

The refreshed iPhone SE 3 is rumored to have the same design as its predecessor. It would supposedly gain support for 5G and might feature the latest A15 chip from Apple. The new iPad Air might be getting small updates like a new processor and the Center Stage feature.
