The MLB lockout is over and right now, fans can stream spring training games for free right through MLB.TV on the MLB app.

To do this, all the user will need to do is create a free MLB account and then once that is done, they can start streaming the games. There is no credit/debit card required in order to stream these games for free.

On top of the MLB app showing audio and video feeds of its games, it shows live stats during the games too.

In my experience, it is easier to do this through the app and not the MLB website, as the website pressures you to sign up for MLB.TV for the regular season.

MLB.TV is available in both audio and video versions. The audio version starts at $2.99 a month and the video tier costs $24.99 a month.

What makes this even more interesting is that Apple is getting in on the MLB regular season action this year with its first year of doing the recently announced Friday Night Baseball through Apple TV+ in the Apple TV app.

Peacock will additionally be streaming MLB games this year on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday nights throughout the regular season this year.

Spring training is set to go until Tuesday, April 5, and the regular season will start on Thursday, April 7.

The MLB app is available to stream on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Apple TV.
