During this week, I surpassed one month of having my iPad Air fifth-generation with the Magic Keyboard and I can say in the month I have had it, I have certainly been more productive.

A major reason for me buying this iPad was the writing aspect of it.

It’s no secret that I love to write, with a lot of my writing ending up on here on Appleosophy. With that said, this iPad has enabled me to write even more on the go.

This is an iPad that I have taken with me to places like a local car mechanic where I sit in the businesses’s waiting room and write articles on here.

The iPad Air is light, portable, and iPadOS has made it possible to get a lot of great usage out of it. We’re talking to the point where you could seriously make the argument that a lot of people should be ditching their desktop or laptop computers and simply replace them with an iPad Air and the Magic Keyboard.

Expensive? Yes, but in the end, it’s worth it.

Other writing that I do is through the WordPress app for some alternative personal blogging and journaling through the Day One Journal app.

Day One Journal is an app that I have been using since my college days and has been a great way to keep track of my days, write down important memories and experiences, and log memorable photos in those journal entries.

This year, I decided to make it a New Year’s Resolution of mine to write more in my journal on that app.

In April, I had just eight entries. This was more than the month before but still not meeting my expectations for myself.

It got way better in May with 22 entries. It’s not where I want to be entirely but I think there was major progress made in this endeavor for that month. I would also like to point out that a lot of these were done at places like an auto shop, a Barnes & Noble Cafe, and my brother’s new apartment.

That may not sound like much, but for this introvert writing this, I’m not one for getting out often. Me getting out outside of going to work, grocery-getting, or church is a somewhat big deal in my world.

On top of all of this, I have been reading the new Josh Peck autobiography on this iPad Air.

Even though reading on an iPad is not what I wanted to use this device for, it can come in handy and is convenient when you go from writing journal entries, articles online, and watching videos, and then you can open up Apple Books and get to your ebook.

I’ve been very happy with the newest iPad Air and cannot wait to see how much more productive on it this summer and the month after it too.

Lastly, I can say a lot of this and say the iPad Air with Magic Keyboard is a great purchase for the money (if you have it and can afford it) because this article, the one you have been reading right here, was written on said iPad Air and Magic Keyboard.

Let that sink in.
