The weather outside in some parts of the country is getting frightful and now people need that fire to be delightful.

Since there are many out there that do not have a home with a fireplace, we are showing you how you could still get most of the fireplace experience this fall and winter with one on your Apple TV.

Here are some options:

  • Winter Fireplace app: A great method for this on the Apple TV is the app Winter Fireplace. It includes multiple types of fireplaces to choose from and the pops and cracks from those fires can be heard in this app.

  • Pluto TV: With Pluto TV, there are actually two options. In the Season’s Greetings section of the channel lineup, the channel “Festive Fireplace” has a 24/7 livestream of a fireplace and then plays Christmas music in the background. There is another channel in the lineup called “Crackling Fireplace” that plays a fire in the fireplace with the cracks and pops that come with having a fire, but without the Christmas music in the background. As an added bonus this year, you can share the experience with a friend on an iPhone or iPad via FaceTime since Pluto TV does have support for SharePlay.

  • YouTube: If all else fails, YouTube is a great place to go to get some fireplace footage and get the benefits of having a fireplace without actually having one.

If you would like the ability to have the fireplace on and still get that warm feeling from it, we recommend having a space heater nearby.
