iPhone SE 4 Might Not Be Coming in 2024

Several rumors have pointed out that the next-generation iPhone SE could come out as soon as 2024; however, reputable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims that Apple will push the release for the aforementioned smartphone, or cancel it altogether. This may come as a surprise for some people who are looking forward to buying a budget-friendly iPhone without sacrificing the core features.

Previous rumors mentioned that the next iPhone SE could be based on the iPhone XR’s design with a single wide camera and a larger 6.1-inch display. However, Kuo pointed out that the production of the all-screen design would require more expenses. By reducing such expenses toward product development, Apple could put focus more on developing flagship products with a higher profit potential, especially during the ongoing recession.

That is why Apple has been lowering shipments for its lower-end and middle-tier smartphones such as the iPhone SE 3, 13 mini, and iPhone 14 Plus after those models have received lower-than-expected sales. The concept for a smaller flagship phone actually started with the iPhone 12 mini, and that also didn’t sell well. Consequently, Apple increased the shipments toward the more expensive iPhone 12 Pro. That way, Apple would be able to sell more of the Pro models while boosting profits even further. Despite the poor sales of the iPhone 12 mini, Apple actually debuted the iPhone 13 mini because they had already committed to its production a few years ahead of time. The iPhone 12 mini was recently discontinued, so it’s more likely that the iPhone 13 mini would receive the same fate. So if you want a small iPhone, now’s the perfect time to get one.

With that said, it would be best for Apple to invest more in developing its flagship iPhones in order to generate revenue that leads to profit with its most popular product ever. Next year’s iPhone lineup could consist of: the iPhone 15, the iPhone 15 Plus, the iPhone 15 Pro, and the iPhone 15 Ultra. The Ultra would replace the ongoing Pro Max model. However, only time will tell when these phones come out in September.

I think Apple is going to loosing opportunity. Customer of 11 above will never choose SE models what ever will be the configurations.
Millons of Android will switch to Iphone if they release SE 4 as soon as possible. For me it will be the great opportunity to increase iphone user. for sure if somebody use iphone one time he will never back to android.
It’s totally depends on Apple they wants to increase numbers of customer or not.
Thanks.
