We’ve been getting even more details about the upcoming iPhone 15 lineup, and it looks like we’re getting another exclusive report from 9to5Mac. This time, it will be about which colors the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro are going to offer.

Please note that none of the colors are final for production as plans could change months in advance, but the report should give us an idea of what the colors for both models are going to look like.

First, the iPhone Pro has had an exclusive color for years. The 11 Pro had Midnight Green, the 12 Pro had Pacific Blue, the 13 Pro had Sierra Blue and later Alpine Green, and now the 14 Pro has Deep Purple. According to a source who spoke to 9to5Mac, it looks like Apple is planning an elusive dark red color option for the Pro. This would be the first time that the Pro offers some shade of red as a color option as the standard iPhone’s color lineup has offered a red color option for years since the iPhone XR. If Apple goes with that color, it would be cool if it markets that finish as either Ruby Red or Maroon Red. Additionally, Apple could also offer that color as part of its ongoing (PRODUCT)RED lineup, which some of the proceeds go to fight AIDS in Africa, and it consists of the existing red standard iPhone models as well as the red Apple Watch Series 8. Rumors have indicated that the upcoming 15 Pro will be made from titanium, so it’s going to be interesting to see how Apple is going to engineer the coating process for the strong material that’s different from stainless steel. To put things in perspective, Apple had offered the titanium Apple Watch Edition in both natural and Space Black finishes.

The Apple Watch Edition was one of Apple’s first products to feature a case that’s made out of titanium.

Taking a look at the standard iPhone 15, 9to5Mac reports that Apple is experimenting with new shades of light blue and pink as shown below, which are somewhat reminiscent of the two colors offered for the last lineup of iPods. These colors would certainly be fun for an everyday iPhone user, but keep in mind that things could change as we’re still several months away before the iPhone 15’s release. Therefore, it’s best to take this with a grain of salt.

The final iPod nano was one of the last iPods to offer shades of blue and pink.

Would you be buying a “deep red” iPhone 15 Pro in titanium when it comes out? What would you call this elusive color that Apple is going to offer? Let us know in the comments below. If you like this article and want more Apple-related stories, make sure you follow us on @Appleosophy.
