In the latest edition of Mark Gurman’s weekly newsletter “Powered On,” he reported that along with the announcement of the upcoming iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro lineup, he expects Apple to debut the next generation Apple Watch Series 9 as well as the second generation Apple Watch Ultra, which first debuted late last year. This implies that we could see yearly updates to both the standard and Ultra models and less frequent updates for the SE from then on, similar to what the company has been doing for its entire iPhone lineup.

He also reported the first Mac machines with the next generation M3 chip to debut as soon as either later this year or next year. These machines will include the 13-inch/15-inch MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook Pro. He also reported that the next generation iMac with an M3 chip and an all-new larger model is still in development for next year.

As for the iPad, he reported that the more advanced iPad Pro models with OLED displays and the sixth-generation iPad Air (possibly with an M2 chip) are in the works as well.

And finally, for the audio and home accessories, the third-generation AirPods Pro, an updated Apple TV set-top box, and other smart-home products are said to be in their “early development” stages.
