Previously removed Disney+ content finds new home on iTunes

Streaming content is the beast that many companies in the media industry are still sort of trying to figure out, with one of those issues being canceled and removed TV shows and movies.

The good news is Disney has added movies that had been removed within the last year from Disney+ and put them up for purchase and rent on iTunes and the Apple TV app.

These Disney+ movies include “Artemis Fowl,” “Crater,” “Cheaper by the Dozen,” “Better Nate Than Never,” “Stargirl,” “The One and Only Ivan,” “Wolfgang,” and “Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made.”

The movies themselves cost about $19.99 each to purchase and $3.99 to rent from iTunes and the Apple TV app. They can also be purchased through Prime Video which is available on the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Mac.

Once purchased through iTunes or the Apple TV app, the content purchased there will be available to stream through said Apple TV app.

A move like this is not something that is unheard of in the streaming industry. Streaming services like Paramount+ have added previous seasons of the “iCarly” reboot on stores like iTunes, as well as others like “Rabbit Hole,” and the canceled after-one-season series “Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies.”
