Apple TV+ has become a place of top-tier content in the streaming world that we live in today.

This includes programming hits such as “Ted Lasso,” “Severance,” “The Morning Show,” and “For All Mankind.”

According to Business Insider, Apple has said to have hired NBCUniversal executive Joseph Cady who is said to play a major factor in creating an ad-supported version of Apple TV+ for consumers. Cady previously worked at NBCUniversal for 14 years.

He is said to be partnering with Apple’s head of advertising sales, Winston Crawford, with this new tier and build of the ad-supported Apple TV+.

One of the reasons behind why Apple could be doing this is finding a better or faster way to make Apple TV+ profitable. With the streaming taking over the way we as viewers consumer TV shows and movies, it will be important for Apple and other media outlets to make their streaming services profitable as well.

As for what the cost of the streaming service would be, it is obviously unknown but would likely be cheaper than the current ad-free version of Apple TV+ that currently costs $9.99 a month.
