Apple published another ad titled “Nice Try” on its YouTube channel in Singapore. This 30-second ad promotes how Face ID protects everything on the latest iPhone models. The ad shows a few family members trying to view an iMessage notification on the iPhone 15, but the Face ID scan failed every time for each face until the owner was able to unlock it and view the iMessage.

Face ID was introduced in the iPhone X in 2017, and it has become the standard for all iPhone models since then (except the iPhone SE). Face ID is also available on the iPad Pro, and it is made possible with the TrueDepth camera system and dot projector. If Face ID scans a mismatched face five times, then it will require the user to enter a passcode, so the owner in the ad would get even more suspicious if at least five family members glanced over the iPhone.
