Every year, we’ve had tax-free holidays, and if you live in any of the eight select states, then you’re in luck because you’ll be eligible to purchase a qualifying Apple product tax-free for a limited time. Specifically, the tax-free period varies in each state. The following states are qualified for tax-free purchases of Apple products along with their tax-free period:
- Alabama: July 19-21
- Arkansas: August 3-4
- Florida: July 29-August 11
- Massachusetts: August 10-11
- Missouri: August 2-4
- Ohio: July 30-August 8
- Tennessee: July 26-28
- West Virginia: August 2-5
Additionally, the list of eligible Apple products varies in each state. This includes, but is not limited to, Macs, iPads, iPhones, and accessories. If your state is eligible for tax-free purchases, you may head to Apple’s “Sales Tax-Free Holiday 2024” page and expand the section of your state to find which Apple products are eligible for tax-free purchases. Buying a new Apple device during the tax-free season is a great way to save some cash towards buying additional accessories, especially when many students are going back to school next month.
