Apple releases first beta for Apple Maps on the web

This afternoon, Apple announced the launching of its brand new Apple Maps on the web beta. What it will specifically do is enable users to view Apple Maps online without accessing it from its app on the iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

This means that it could get turn-by-turn and walking directions from Apple Maps without necessarily using the app. On top of that, it will provide hours of businesses and reviews of said businesses too.

Apple has stated that other features such as Look Around will be available “in the coming months.”

Apple Maps on the web right now is available for viewing and using on Safari, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Edge web browsers on the iPhone, iPad, and Mac, and on Windows PCs.
