Apple rolls out iOS 18.2.1 and iPadOS 18.2.1 with bug fixes

Apple has started rolling out iOS 18.2.1 and iPadOS 18.2.1 to the public with “important bug fixes”. These updates come almost a month after the release of iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2 which debuted with new Apple Intelligence features such as ChatGPT integration, Genmoji, and more. Apple keeps refining the software experience with every 18.x.x update whilst also fixing bugs.

According to the Release Notes:

“This update provides important bug fixes and is recommended for all users.”


There seem to be no security fixes in these updates, according to Apple.

These updates are available on all devices that support iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 including:

– iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max

– iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max

– iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max

– iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max

– iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max

– iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max

– iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, and iPhone XR

– iPhone SE (3rd generation)

– iPhone SE (2nd generation)

– iPad Pro (2nd generation and later)

– iPad Air (3rd generation and later)

– iPad (6th generation and later)

– iPad mini (5th generation and later)
