March seems to have come in like a lamb when it comes to the weather, or at least that is what I have personally been experiencing in the central midwestern United States.
Still though, there’s plenty of good content to be streaming this month!
TV:
- “Douglas is Cancelled”: This was a hit show last year on ITV last year and will be making its debut in America on Thursday, March 6, exclusively on BritBox.
- “Formula 1: Drive to Survive” (Season 7): The seventh season of this popular series will be arriving on Netflix on Friday, March 7.
- “Bill Burr: Drop Dead Years”: While this may be more of a TV special, Burr has been referred to as the “George Carlin of our time” and I have no doubt that this special will bring the laughs and then some. It will premiere on Hulu on Friday, March 14.
- “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”: Due to the recent death of Michelle Trachtenberg, we are putting this as a recommendation for this month. All seven seasons of the series can be streamed on Hulu.
- “Bosch: Legacy” (Season 3): This is the last season of this show which will premiere on Prime Video on Thursday, March 27.
Movies:
- “Harriet the Spy”: Once again, due to the recent death of Michelle Trachtenberg, we are recommending this movie as well since it was one Trachtenberg was very well known for. It can currently be streamed for free on Pluto TV.
- “The Luck of the Irish”: Since this month is the month of St. Patrick’s Day, let’s give you all something to look forward to or think about just having pure luck. This old Disney Channel movie can be streamed on Disney+.
- “Palm Springs”: This month, the first day of spring will come and the weather will get warmer in parts of the country. With that said, with this film here, you’ll be able to get excited about the warmer spring weather while additionally think about what this summer might look like for you too. The movie can be streamed on Hulu.
- “17 Again”: With the death of Michelle Trachtenberg, this can be another good film to watch. It should also be noted that her father in the movie, Matthew Perry, did also pass away in October 2023. On the bright side, the film has some great humor and features basketball, which is important if you’re a college or professional basketball fan this time of the year. This movie can be streamed on Cinemax.
- “Wicked”: The hit film from 2024 will be making its way exclusively to Peacock on Friday, March 21.
Sports:
- Men’s College Basketball: This is going to be a huge month for college basketball when it comes to the conference tournaments, along with the even bigger NCAA Men’s College Basketball Tournament that is scheduled to start on Tuesday, March 18. The games will be available across CBS, TBS, TNT, and TruTV, with Paramount+ and MAX being the streaming providers for a select number of those games.
- NCAA Selection Show (Men’s College Basketball): Once again, this will be for the Men’s College Basketball tournament beginning later this month. This show specifically takes place at 6 p.m. ET on Sunday, March 16, on CBS and streaming live on Paramount+.
- Milwaukee Brewers vs. New York Yankees (MLB): For Opening Day this year, these two teams kick off the 2025 MLB regular season! This game will be played at 3 p.m. ET on Thursday, March 27, on ESPN and streaming live on ESPN+.
- St. Louis Battlehawks vs. Houston Roughnecks (UFL): What, you thought football was over with now that the Super Bowl is over? Please, this is America. Football in this country is available pretty much all year around. With that said, both of these will kick off the regular season for the UFL with this game starting at 8 p.m. ET on Friday, March 28, on FOX.
- The Thermal Club IndyCar Grand Prix (IndyCar): IndyCar racing is back and live again in America, and has a new broadcasting home on FOX. With that said, this race will air at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, March 23, on FOX.
