Apple has started rolling out the third betas of iOS 26.1, iPadOS 26.1, macOS Tahoe 26.1, watchOS 26.1, visionOS 26.1, and tvOS 26.1 to developers. These updates come just one week after the release of Developer Beta 2.

iOS 26.1 will bring in a new gesture in Music for backward/forward gestures to switch songs in the Mini Player, and a redesigned video scrubber in Photos. Apple has also been making changes to Liquid Glass in the last two betas to keep refining the effect.

We can expect the next betas to be released as soon as next week, as Apple gets ready for their official release by next month.

Users who are registered as a developer on www.developer.apple.com can opt in to receive beta updates by going into Settings>General>Software Update>Beta Updates and selecting Developer Beta. Do note that these versions are not stable and are meant for testing purposes.
