A major tradition in America on Thanksgiving is watching NFL games. This has been a tradition that has gone on for literal decades, and one again, it will be happening again this year.
The only difference this year is that if you have the correct device and tech, you can stream the game live and in 4K.
For Thanksgiving, Apple TV 4K users can stream the Green Bay Packers vs. Detroit Lions game starting at 1 p.m. ET on Thursday, November 27, live on FOX.

However, to stream the game live in 4K, it has been announced that you can stream the game through Tubi’s app.
Please note that in order to stream the game in 4K, the user must have an Apple TV 4K (or 4K compatible streaming device) and a 4K TV. The user will additionally need a Tubi account (which is free to make and have) to stream it too.
If the user does not have the Apple TV 4K and/or a 4K TV, they will get the usual HD stream and picture from FOX.
Tubi does state that the 4K stream will be in 4K UHD. This is pretty standard when FOX Sports does 4K streams of sporting events such as college football and basketball, as we as the select number of NFL games it has covered in 4K over the years. The games are upscaled from 1080p HD to 4K UHD.
