Apple rolls out macOS Tahoe 26.3.1 with support for the new Studio Display and Studio Display XDR

Apple has started rolling out macOS Tahoe 26.3.1 to the public with bug fixes and support for the newly launched Studio Display and Studio Display XDR. This update comes three weeks after the release of macOS Tahoe 26.3  to the public, which included bug fixes and security improvements. This update includes support for the newly announced Studio Display and Studio Display XDR for these Mac models: –
  • iMac (M1 and later)
  • MacBook Air (M1 and later)
  • MacBook Pro (M1 and later)
  • Mac mini (M1 and later)
  • Mac Studio (M1 Max and later)
  • Mac Pro (M2 Ultra)
This update itself is currently available for all devices that support macOS Tahoe, including:
  • MacBook Air with Apple silicon (2020 and later)
  • MacBook Pro with Apple silicon (2020 and later)
  • MacBook Pro 16-inch (2019) with an Intel chipset
  • MacBook Pro 13-inch (2020, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports) with an Intel chipset
  • iMac (2020 and later)
  • Mac mini (2020 and later)
  • Mac Studio (2022 and later)
  • Mac Pro (2019 and later)

Apple keeps refining the software experience with every update, whilst also fixing security issues. However, Apple has not yet updated its Security Update webpage to incorporate the release of the new software versions.
