While it has been a little over a year now since this happened, but Dollar General, the popular dollar store-like retail merchant, is accepting Apple Pay as a payment method through its app.
Since around late-2020 to early-2021, Dollar General’s retail stores have been accepting Apple Pay.
Dollar General updated its app to accept Apple Pay back in Version 15.1.30.
When checking out in the app, Apple Pay can be used on orders shipped directly to customers, delivery orders, and orders that are made to be picked up at a store.
When tapping the “Buy with Apple Pay” button in the checkout and then using Apple Card as the payment method, customers can get 2% in Daily Cash on each purchase.
