Just recently, Apple started offering certified refurbished models of the last-generation iPad Pro with the M4 chip. Those specific models have been discontinued for over five months with the M5 refresh back in October, so this was the first time we’re seeing the M4 models on Apple’s Certified Refurbished store (at least in the United States).
The M4 iPad Pro originally retailed for $999 (MSRP), and that was the 11-inch Wi-Fi model with 256GB of storage. You could get a refurbished iPad Pro (M4) for as low as $759, but at the time of this writing, the 256GB Wi-Fi 11-inch models aren’t available in the refurbished store; presumably, they’ve sold out. Stock for specific configurations on refurbished products may fluctuate, but in the case of the M4 iPad Pro, the hardware is incredibly good, especially that tandem OLED display that people would rather buy that model instead of something like the latest iPad Air (M4), as the pros (no pun intended) outweigh the cons. The M4 iPad Pro features an exceptional display with higher brightness levels/contrast ratio, 120Hz ProMotion technology, Face ID, and more.
Currently, the lowest you can get on a refurbished M4 iPad Pro is the next step up: the 512GB 11-inch Wi-Fi model in either silver or space black for $929, which is still a great deal, especially for more room to download content, files, and other apps.
All refurbished iPad models come with the same 14-day return policy and limited one-year warranty, and they feature a new outer shell and new battery – all packaged with original accessories in a new white box.
