Apple just started rolling out the first betas of the newly announced iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS Tahoe 27, watchOS 27, tvOS 27, and visionOS 27 to developers. These updates include improvements to Liquid Glass, a new Siri AI, new Screen Time options, and more, announced at today’s WWDC event.
After updating to the beta, you might not be able to use the new Apple Intelligence and Siri AI immediately, as there’s now a waitlist to enter it, similar to how it was in 2024 with iOS 18. To enter, go to Settings> Siri and Apple Intelligence> Join waitlist. It is currently unclear as to when the access will be given, but we can hope for nothing more than a few days.
The new Siri is available for all devices that supported the first released version of Apple Intelligence, although the better and more powerful model is reserved for devices with 12GB of RAM and more for iPhones, which include only three devices: iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Do note that these versions are not stable and are meant for testing purposes. They are not recommended to be downloaded on a primary device due to the nature of beta software.
