According to recently published building permits filed with the City of Meridian, Apple is planning to open a 10,000 sq ft. retail space at the Village at Meridian shopping center. Here’s what we know so far.
According to the plans, the $8,000,000, 10,411 sq ft. retail space is currently designated as “Apple Store – The Village at Meridian.” The store will be located at 3300 E. Longwing Ln., Suite 130, and features the expected Apple clean storefront, bright open sales floor, Genius Bar, and a large backroom that will sit behind other stores.

Centercal Properties, developers of The Village at Meridian, declined to comment on building permits when asked by BoiseDev and later removed any mention of Apple when they updated the permitting website.
A few miles east, however, is Apple Boise Town Center, which famously was the first location in the country to reopen after COVID in 2020. According to BoiseDev, it’s unclear if Apple plans to keep the Boise Town Center location due to the proximity, since neither Apple nor Centercal responded prior to the deadline. It’s also unclear if the store will open in time for the fall launch cycle.
According to BoiseDev, Apple would join other major retailers in The Village expansion, such as Pottery Barn, which will occupy the space next to the store. We will keep track of the new location and post any updates. Personally, more Apple Stores are a huge win.
