We’re just one week away from Apple announcing the next generation of iPhones, including the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, and apparently, reputable leaker Sonny Dickson shared an image of what would allegedly be the colors for the SIM trays for the iPhone 18 Pro models outside of the U.S. (Note that U.S. models are eSIM-only.) Based on his post below, the iPhone 18 Pro could come in a trio of colors, repeating that number of colors for the current-generation iPhone 17 Pro. As previously rumored, this image suggests that the iPhone 18 Pro could come in Silver, Dark Cherry, and Sky Blue, skipping a true black option yet again, which some Pro customers would find ‘outlandish.’
However, yesterday, there was a conflicting rumor that the iPhone 18 Pro would finally bring back a black color option in place of the traditional silver, as claimed by “Fixed Focus Digital.” On the contrary, back in April, Instant Digital claimed there would still be no black option, but Macworld, on the other hand, claimed that Apple would offer four colors for the iPhone 18 Pro, including a darker shade of gray.
According to MacRumors, Dickson informed the same source that he came across those colors in recent months. Despite sharing some iPhone 18 Pro dummy units in Black back in May, Dickson still insisted that although black dummies would be made every year, that color would not be Apple’s preference nowadays.
