Just a week after it released the fourth beta for latest version of iOS 11 update, Apple has released the fifth beta of iOS 11.4. Developers are able to download these betas in the Apple Developers Center and receive the proper configuration profile. In order to update your devices, go to Setting -> General -> Software Update.

Features And Changes:

The unreleased update has introduced several new features: a new ClassKit framework for educational apps, which was announced by Apple on March 27th during its Education event in Chicago, highly-anticipated HomePod calendar support (very likely),  and there is also a (Product)RED wallpaper for all of iPhone 8 and 8 Plus users.

Security wise, iOS 11.4 includes a USB Restricted Mode, in which Apple describes as a way to improve security, with the feature, iPhone unlocking tools like GreyKey won’t be unlocking devices earlier than before. Here is Apple’s description:

To improve security, for a locked iOS device to communicate with USB accessories you must connect an accessory via Lightning connector to the device while unlocked – or enter your device passcode while connected – at least once a week.”

Lastly, both the AirPlay 2 and Messages on iCloud are present in the beta, these features should available in iOS 11,3, but for unknown reasons, Apple removed it ahead of release.
