We have known for a while that Taco Bell was accepting Apple Pay in their app and that they had plans to add it to their stores, but once we heard in early 2019, it seems like no one from Apple or Taco Bell had said a word.
As of today, we can now confirm that Apple Pay is being put into Taco Bell restaurants. According to a photo shared by Twitter user @Yartctls34, it would appear as though Taco Bell has updated their POS system and card readers to begin accepting Apple Pay in their restaurants.
Previously, users could only use Apple Pay at Taco Bell through their iOS app.
