Calcbot Adds Apple Watch Complication

Avatar for David Becker

Calcbot, which is made by the same app developers who have made Tweetbot 3 for Mac and Tweetbot 5 for iOS, was just updated for the Apple Watch that adds a new complication to it, which is a first for the app.

In fact, the Apple Watch app just got its functionality back as of last week, thanks to the Calcbot 2.4 update from Tapbots.

To add the complication to your Apple Watch, open to Watch app on your iPhone and then simply choose where you want it to be on your Apple Watch. It does not get much easier than that.

From the words of Michale Potuck from 9to5Mac, “Calcbot is a much more robust option that the default iOS calculator. Features include a history tape, conversions, favorites, tip calculator, scientific functions, and much more.”Â

Calcbot is an app that is free in the App Store and does have a pro version that costs $1.99, with all of the themes from the app costing $0.99.

Today’s update includes the following:

  • Added watch complication
  • Added the ability to use negative numbers in watch converter
  • Sped up adding to tape when there’s a lot of items

Calcbot is also available for the Mac for $4.99.
