This weekend, the cord cutting and live TV streaming service Sling TV will be offering its users a free preview of NBA League Pass. Users will have the ability to watch their favorite teams play, as well as watch NBA TV too.
It will be available to all users, meaning whether you are on the Sling Orange or Sling Blue plan, you will be able to access this content.Â
Sling TV is making this free preview available for both February 23 and 24. This makes it so that consumers will have the entire weekend to decide whether or not they like it and want to add it to their package.Â
NBA League Pass does currently cost an extra $29 per month to your bill. Both the Sling Orange and Sling Blue plans cost $25 per month. If you added it, this would add $29 to your $25 per month bill just for basic access to your Sling TV, making the service cost $54 a month (before taxes).Â
Consumers can also pay for an individual team. So, if you want to just watch the Houston Rockets games, it will cost you an additional $18 per month (which is the cost for each individual team) on top of the $25 per month you are paying for your Sling TV plan. This will include access to NBA TV as well.
For those who just want NBA TV, Sling TV does offer the Sports Extra for only $5 extra per month that will give you NBA TV, as well as other sports channels. Make sure to check with your plan to see which extra sports channels you will get since the service does add and take away certain channels based on whether you are on the Sling Orange or Sling Blue plans.Â
Sling TV is available on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.Â
