According to a tweet made by Apple CEO Tim Cook this morning, Cook mentioned that he and the rest of Apple felt bad about the fire that happened at the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris yesterday and that Apple will be donating money to rebuild the cathedral.
We are heartbroken for the French people and those around the world for whom Notre Dame is a symbol of hope. Relieved that everyone is safe. Apple will be donating to the rebuilding efforts to help restore Notre Dame’s precious heritage for future generations.????????

The fire did burn yesterday for eight hours. Additionally, the building is over 800 years old and is an incredibly important structure throughout Paris and with the Catholic Church as a whole.
The Notre Dame Cathedral was currently undergoing rennovations that we at a cost of $170 million. It is currently unknown how much it will cost to rebuild the Notre Dame Cathedral, but according to ABC News, $339 million has already been pledged in donations to help rebuild the cathedral.
