iPhone 11 Pro announced with new Super Retina XDR Display

Apple just announced  that their new iPhone 11 Pro has a “Super Retina XDR” display, with technology developed from the development of the Apple Pro Display XDR. The iPhone 11 Pro is expected to have one of the best displays on a smartphone, with HDR 10. The new display is also 15% more power efficient. 

The iPhones will be available to pre-order on Friday starting at 5AM PDT. 

The pricing is similar to the iPhone Xs and Xs Max, at $999 and $1099 respectively.

Improved battery life

The iPhone 11 Pro now has unto 4 hours more battery life than the iPhone Xs. The iPhone 11 Pro Max pushes that even further, with up to 5 hours of battery life more than the iPhone Xs Max.

Now with 3 cameras

The new iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max has 3 new cameras. These cameras consist of a normal lens, wide-angle lens, and a telephoto lens.

The new machine learning technology adopted in the iPhone 11 Pro processing unit allows true pro photography. Apple also showcased photos taken by pro photographers using iPhone.

The newly advanced neural engine now optimizes images for low-noise, and is directly responsible for outputting the final image. Apple calls it, “Computation Photography Mad Science.”

Advanced video recording

The A13 Bionic allows the iPhone 11 Pro to take cinematographic video, allowing it to switch between lenses with ease. Flimic Pro also is optimized for the iPhone 11 Pro, with a divided viewfinder that divides the screen with the 3 lenses. 

You can also shoot with multiple cameras at the same time using Filmic Pro.

The iPhone 11 Pro also has the same new features of the iPhone 11, including a faster and more versatile Face ID.
