So Apple surprised us with more features than we expected. Apple launched its iPhone 11 with 6 new finishes – Purple, Yellow, Green, Black, White and Product Red.
So let’s start with the new features launched with the iPhone 11.
Camera:
One of the main segments of the iPhone has just gotten better, Apple says.
Apple also says, “It just got a whole lot harder to take a bad photo.” on its website
Apple has added a 12MP ultra-wide lens to the iPhone 11 for you to take advantage of a wider field of view. It also shoots videos at 4K 60fps. Night Mode is also here, and you can now click stunning night shots in the camera app. The best part is, it is all automatic. The audio zoom feature in video recording is here with the iPhone 11. You can now also make a slo-mo video with your front camera as well. They are calling it SloFies. They announced a way to take a quick video. You can now swipe right along the camera shutter to switch to quick-video mode.
Water Resistance:
The iPhone 11 has IP68 water resistance rating and can stay under water 2 meters deep for upto 30 minutes which is an upgrade over its predecessor (iPhone Xr) which was rated at IP67.
Stronger Glass:
The iPhone display and back glass are now even stronger. They are strengthened through a dual ion-exchange process.
Battery:
The iPhone 11 offers 1 hour more battery life than the iPhone Xr.
Processor:
With the iPhone 11, you get the latest Apple A13 Bionic chip which can do 1 trillion operations a second. As usual, Apple’s processors are way ahead of its competitors.
U1 Chip:
The new Apple designed U1 chip will help locate other Apple devices equipped with U1 chips. If you want to share something through Airdrop, you can now point to the other device, and that device will be first on your list.
Dolby Atmos:
The iPhone 11 introduces Dolby Atmos and Spatial Audio which gives you a 3D listening experience.
Wifi 6:
This can boost your download speeds for upto 38%. Faster WiFi is finally on the cheaper iPhone as well!
Faster Face ID:
With the new iPhone 11 and iOS 13, you can now experience faster Face ID. Apple also said that Face ID will be more versatile, and can unlock at different angles.
Pricing:
The iPhone 11 will cost $699 which is less than the iPhone Xr when it was launched ($749). Now the iPhone Xr is available for $599.
The iPhone 11 will be available on the 20th of September.
