According to Macworld, Costco has taken $129 off the iPad 5th Generation this week. This week, that iPad is priced at $299, which is $130 off the regular price of it (regularly $429.99). This is an amazing deal on this model and beats the current price of Best Buy’s 32GB iPad 5th Generation, which is currently $60 off this week and priced at $269.99. The Costco price is also the lowest price was have ever seen this version of the iPad 5th Generation go for.
One thing that should be noted is that you have to be a member of Costco in order to get the deal. However, stores like Target, Best Buy, and Walmart should be able to price-match that price if you ask a sales associate in their retail stores. I would encourage you to do that if you are interested in buying this iPad, that you try to see if a store or sales associate will allow you to price-match that price whether or not you actually have a Costco membership.
Best Buy is selling the same version of the 128GB iPad this week for $369.99, which is a $60 discount and the same discount amount as the 32GB version.
It is unknown how long this deal will last, but if it’s anything like typical retail stores, I would say that it will be available until the end of the week.
If you do have a membership to Costco and are looking into buying a new iPad for yourself, this week just might be your lucky week to do so. Again, see if a store like Target, Best Buy, or Walmart will price-match the price for you (and comment down below if that worked for you, too).
