Yes, it is November 1st, the day after Halloween. However, for a lot of people, it is also that time of the year where Christmas music is upon us, with people playing it on every device you could think of.

We know that there are many, many options out there. That is why we are going to list a few methods on how you can get the most out of listening to it this year.

Apple Music

The first method that we are going to say is, without a doubt, Apple Music. This is Apple’s music streaming service that has everything and then some with one of the biggest music catalogs in the music streaming industry.

In fact, I have been using this service for a few years and have a great Christmas music playlist that has over 300 songs on it, making it a great Christmas radio station alternative. You can view it by clicking here.

Apple Music has 20+ Christmas radio stations to choose from and 17 Christmas-related music playlists. Of course, you can be like me and create your own Christmas music playlist too.

If you do not have Apple Music, no worries. You can sign up for a free trial of the service and get it for three months for completely free, on the house from Apple.

Spotify

This is pretty similar to Apple Music, but given the fact that the company just released their new Apple TV app in the tvOS App Store this year, I figured it would be a good idea to mention it here.

You can get radio stations and playlists from other users right from the app on whichever device you choose.

Lastly, what makes Spotify different is that they have a free version of the service where you will hear an ad or two after hearing several songs or using a certain amount of skips.

This can be applied to other streaming services as well, such as Pandora Radio and iHeartRadio.

SiriusXM

Satellite radio is still out there and is a nice alternative to traditional FM radio, especially since there are no ads on the service.

SiriusXM starts at $10.99 a month, but we would recommend the middle-tier plan that costs $15.99 a month. If you want to, you can go as high as $20.99 a month for their All Access plan.

One station that premiered on the service last year that will appear again this year is the Hallmark Channel Christmas radio station. It can be found on channel 70 and has started playing Christmas music as of today.

There will be eight stations this year that will be playing Christmas music for listeners to enjoy during their holiday season travels.

Another incentive to get SiriusXM satellite radio is that it does with work Apple’s CarPlay. If you have the app on your iPhone, you can get it to work and play on your car if it has a CarPlay-enabled dashboard.

Of course, SiriusXM is available to stream on devices other than the iPhone, such as the iPod Touch and iPad.

iHeartRadio and TuneIn

These are apps that you can use to listen to your favorite Christmas FM radio station. This means that if you are traveling to Denver, Colorado but live in Iowa and prefer the Christmas radio station back home, you can pull it up on one of their apps.

iHeartRadio does have CarPlay support, but only for its podcasts feature. As of this posting, they have not updated it to support streaming actual radio stations. Of course, you can always stream it from your iPhone

The good news is that TuneIn does have a CarPlay app that does work for streaming radio stations. As always, you can stream it from your iPhone and other Apple devices too.

FM Radio Stations

Of course, if push came to shove, you can always go to that reliable, traditional FM radio. Whether this is just in the car or with a radio playing in the house, those FM radio stations are always a great way to get you in the holiday spirit when listening to Christmas music.

We hope that this helps you get your Christmas music fix this year and that you will be able to enjoy the holidays this year.
