For years, Netflix has been able to “AirPlay” any title from your iOS device to an AppleTV. However, it seems that Netflix has removed the ability to do so, citing “technical limitations.”

It is unclear how suddenly technical limitations are present, after years of supporting AirPlay, that too at a time when AirPlay 2 is being adopted by many companies such as Samsung and LG.

Netflix has a history of removing functionality for Apple devices, as in the past, their interactive title “Black Mirror: Bandersnatch” was not available on Apple TV.

It is unclear if Netflix will add the option in the future. For now, it is unavailable and cannot even be accessed through control center.
