As of now, people in the Portland, Washington area can now add their Hop Fastpass card to the Apple Wallet.

This means that instead of swiping a card to get on to a subway, you will be able to simply tap your iPhone or Apple Watch to the card reader and it will be able to read your Hop card, which will allow you to get and go to where you need to be.

To get your card into the Apple Wallet app, you will have to open the Hop app, sign in and then tap the Add to Apple Wallet button.

If you do not have an account, you will be able to make an account in the Hop app, and from there, you’ll be able to tap the “Get a Virtual Card Using Apple Pay” button. There is a $3 fee for making a new Hop card. After that, you’ll be able to add it to your Apple Wallet.

The how-to videos for this can be found below:

Hop is additonally allowing for people to ride without a Hop account or card and that they will be able to pay for their ride with Apple Pay.
