After being spotted for the first time in an Apple Retail Store yesterday, the new LG UltraFine 23.7-inch 4K Display is now also available on Apple’s Online Store in the US and it is a replacement for the previous 4K and 5K LG UltraFine displays.

You can get LG’s new UltraFine display for $699.95 from apple.com.

Although the new display is 4K, it has a lower resolution than the previous LG UltraFine 21.5-inch 4K display which had a resolution of 4096-by-2304. The 23.7-inch LG display only has a resolution of 3840-by-2160.

The previous LG UltraFine displays were offered alongside the MacBook Pro in 2016, but they are no longer available to buy from Apple.

The display offers up to 85W of power to charge the connected Mac / iPad Pro. It now also features two Thunderbolt 3 ports instead of one like the previous displays, as well as three USB-C ports.
