Apple announced that the online pre-orders for the new 2019 Mac Pro and Pro Display XDR will begin on Tuesday, December 10.
This Mac Pro was announced at the 2019 WWDC keynote this past June and is set to be a Mac that has been completely redesigned and looks like a smaller reincarnation of the 2006 Mac Pro (photo below).
The last version of the Mac Pro to be released was the 2013 Mac Pro (photo below) which was known as the “trashcan” Mac for a while.
As for the price of the 2019 Mac Pro, it will start at $5,999 for the baseline model. Consumers will also have the option of attaching the Pro Display XDR monitor along with it, which will be priced at $4,999 and have an optional stand for an additional $999.
