People tend to think that their streaming TV solutions come from places like Netflix, Hulu and Prime Video, but as it turns out, there is another streaming service that might have exactly what you’re looking for when it comes to Nickelodeon. To make things even better, it only costs $7.99 a month.

First of all, believe it or not, Nickelodeon does have its own on-demand streaming service for both classic and current TV shows and movies that have aired on their network.

These are the following shows and movies, which are Spongebob Squarepants (all 11 seasons), iCarly, Victorious, Zoey 101, The Fairly Odd Parents, My Life as a Teenage Robot, and movies such as Big Time Movie, A Fairly Odd Movie, Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie and The Boy Who Cried Werewolf.

Both Victorious and Sam & Cat are on Netflix and are also on NickHits too. However, Nickelodeon shows that are on Hulu like Drake and Josh and Jimmy Neutron are not on NickHits.

In my experience when testing the service on the Apple TV app, not only do you get access to all of the shows and movies mentioned earlier, but they are available in their entirety, as in the entire series/movie is on there.

What makes NickHits great for you is that you can download TV shows episodes or movies to devices like the iPhone or iPad for offline playback. This makes it good for parents that want to set up TV shows and movies for the kids to watch while in the car or on a plane.

I like that the service is easy to use and has plenty to offer, in terms of content. Also, like I said earlier, it has ALL of Spongebob. That’s a huge selling point in itself.

The one thing that I did not like is that when going through Zoey 101′s episodes, there are two of the same episode. One tells you how to buy the episode through iTunes or Prime Video and the other one lets you stream it from NickHits.

Still, even with that slight problem, it is a great service, especially for its great price of $7.99 a month via Apple TV Channels. It gets 4/4 stars from me. I’d recommend it to everyone who is looking for a great method to stream old and new episodes of Spongebob, old episodes of iCarly, Victorious or Zoey 101, or current Nickelodeon programs and movies.

NickHits is available on Apple TV Channels in the Apple TV app on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV, Mac and any device that has gets the Apple TV app (Amazon Fire TV, Roku, select smart TVs, etc).
