Yesterday it was announced that YouTube TV would be dropping the regional FSN stations and YES Network this weekend. This is being done because YouTube TV and Sinclair Broadcasting Group have failed to reach a deal to keep the channels on the live TV streaming service.
Both the regional FSN stations and YES Network will be unavailable to stream on YouTube TV as of February 29, 2020.
This is an issue for the FSN stations because they broadcast a lot of live and local NBA games. To make it even worse, the 2020 MLB season is right around the corner too.
Speaking of the upcoming MLB season, YES Network is being taken off the YouTube TV on the same day as the regional FSN stations are. This is a problem because not only is the MLB season right around the corner, but YES Network is the home of the New York Yankees and their game broadcasts.
How can you stream all of these from here on our and for the time being?
Well, the good news is that you still have two options that are available at your disposal. The two options are Hulu with Live TV and AT&T TV.
Hulu with Live TV is $55 a month and comes with both the regional FSN stations and YES Network. However, with AT&T TV, which costs $80 a month for the plan that has YES Network but does not have the regional FSN stations.
If there is another route to go other than the previous two services mentioned is that you can stream your regional FSN station or YES Network through the FOX Sports GO app. However, you must sign-in with your TV provider credentials. If the TV provider than you provided does not have your regional FSN station or YES Network in its channel lineup, you will not be able to stream that channel.
Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV and FOX Sports GO are available to stream on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.
