Apple News+ is a great way for users to get their news, as well read their favorite magazines such as WIRED, Entrepreneur and People, and is a place where people can read daily newspapers like The Wall Street Journal, The Kansas City Star and Miami Herald.
There is now a new way through Best Buy to get three months of Apple News+ for free.
To do this, you must be someone who has yet to subscribe to the service in order to get it for free through Best Buy’s website. The website does say it is a four-month free trial, but after my usage with it, it turns out to only be a three-month one.
The one that Apple offers built into the Apple News app is only a one-month free trial.
For the next steps, I would recommend you do it from either an iPhone or iPad.
Once you have placed the order, wait up to 30 minutes to get an email from Best Buy, which will contain a code.
Access your email app, copy the code from your app and then click on the link in the email from Best Buy, which will take you to the App Store. Apple will ask if you want your iPhone or iPad to scan the code or to enter it manually. You’ll want to enter the code manually since you do not have a bar code.
After you tap the “Enter Manually,” you will tap the space where you would type in the code until you see the word “Paste” pop up. Once it does, tap it and the code will go in.
From there, hit the redeem button and within a few seconds, you should have a three-month free trial of the Apple News+ service.
