Recent rumors and statements from prolific leakers have pointed out that this year’s Special Event might not be that special at all.

2020 has been a bumpy year for everyone, and Apple news have definitely suffered because of that. The delay of WWDC 2020, the silent, but the effective release of the iPhone SE through a site refresh, and the lack of any significant hardware for the most part of the year have made it clear that the people at Cupertino are having some trouble.

Now, a week before Apple’s biggest event, we are getting some sad rumors. According to a Bloomberg report, we might not get the iPhone 12 and announcement on September 15th. While we already know there’s a huge possibility of the year’s iPhone getting delayed all the way back to October, this is extremely worrying news.

In my opinion, this is extremely unlikely. Apple is extremely good at doing these sort of events, but building at least an hour on iPad and the rumored AirPods Studio is a stretch. The best is to wait just a week more to see what Apple has in store for us in these last few months of 2020.
