A couple of days back, Apple pushed the first beta of iOS 14.2 and iPadOS 14.2 to the developers.

The Public Beta is out just five days after the official launch of iOS 14. The developer beta of iOS and iPadOS 14.2 brought some noticeable changes to the UI, with a new Now Playing window and the Shazam Button in the Control Centre. There is also a new icon for the Apple Watch app as well as “People Detection” feature to measure the distance between you and another person using the Magnifier app.

The features are likely to be the same in the public as that of the developer version. You can download the Public Beta by signing up for the Apple Beta Software Program. However, we do not suggest you to download the Beta on your primary device.
