Apple Japan has announced that the company will be holding a shopping event on January 2-3 in the celebration of the new year. This event will offer free gift cards on purchases of select Apple products, similar to the four-day shopping event the company held between Black Friday and Cyber Monday in USA.Â
Apple in a tweet confirmed this event, and offering free gift cards upto Â¥18,000 (roughly $175 USD) to customers. This was spotted by Mac Otakara in a tweet. The shopping even is likely to be held in Apple Online stores & Apple’s brick-and-mortar stores in Japan.
Since the nature of the event is supposed to share resemblance with the United State’s four-day promotional event, Appleosophy expects the gift card deals to be available to older products like the 16-inch MacBook Pro, 21.5-inch iMac, HomePod, on select iPhone models, namely the iPhone 11 and XR and on Apple TV 4K and HD versions. iPad Pro and iPad mini are also available under this offer. Select Beats products, AirPods Pro, AirPods with Wireless charging case & AirPods alongside the Apple Watch Series 3 are also a part of the shopping event.
