The past year has been an industry-changing year because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic throughout the U.S.
A major part of this is that a lot of restaurants throughout the country have had to switch and focus their attention on pickup orders and not so much on in-person orders at the sit-down restaurants.
Before today, the only way to use Apple Pay at Texas Roadhouse was through its restaurants in-person.
With all of that said, if you’re a frequent Texas Roadhouse customer and have their app, you’re in luck because it just added support for Apple Pay today, January 12.
In its latest update, Version 4.2.0 has the following improvements:
– Apple Pay is now available at checkout
– Added support for TO-GO alcohol sales
– Minor bug fixes and improvements
This all means that if you make a purchase through the Texas Roadhouse app, you can now make your purchase at the checkout with Apple Pay.
Apple Card users will be able to get 2% in Daily Cash on each order they make in the app and in its restaurants.
