Today marks a big day for streaming services as Viacom launched its own streaming service Paramount+, which will compete against other major streaming services such as Netflix and Disney+. Additionally, you can add this service to your Apple TV channels. However, that’s not the only new service you can use with Apple’s TV app.
With the latest free update, Plex gains official support for Siri and Apple TV app integration. This means that you can take advantage of the great features of the Apple TV app such as the “Up Next” queue and enjoy the wide plethora of free movies and TV shows (if you don’t mind the ads that come with a free service). Please note that this integration is limited to on-demand movies and TV shows. So users with personal content such as home movies will have to wait for the time being. This was first spotted by Will Sigmon last month on the app’s beta version.
