Apple could be discontinuing the entry-level 13.3-inch MacBook Pro and likely replace it with the rumored 14-inch model.
This story comes from MacRumors after two discontinued Apple products, the original HomePod, and the iMac Pro. The latest 13.3-inch MacBook Pro is one of the first Macs that run Apple Silicon — that being the M1 chip — with the rumored successor having an even faster chip.
Other than the new silicon chip, there hasn’t been any significant update to the 13.3-inch model since May 2020.

According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, Apple is launching new MacBook Air and Pro models this year with a new square design, bigger screens, more ports like HDMI, no Touch Bar, and the return of MagSafe. The new models could enter mass production in the second half of 2021.
