We reported days ago that Wendy’s had begun upgrading its POS terminals in its fast-food restaurants to begin accepting Apple Pay.
More has happened since and a user on Reddit, u/Recent-Claim, is showing that their location has also updated its POS terminals that do show the Near Field Communication (NFC) icon on the top of the card reader, which indicates that the card reader does accept Apple Pay.

It also looks as though the user made their purchase with their titanium Apple Card, which would give them just 1% in Daily Cash. Once the locations begin to accept Apple Pay and Apple Card users make purchases with their Apple Cards through an iPhone or Apple Watch, they will get 2% in Daily Cash on each purchase they make with it there.
Back in December 2021, Wendy’s began putting stickers at its drive-thru to show that the fast-food chain would soon be accepting Apple Pay. While there is no official launch date for when it will begin accepting Apple Pay at its locations, there are rumors that say it could be starting this month.
