A recent report suggests that Apple might integrate an 8GB RAM on its upcoming iPhone 14 Pro. This is the highest ever RAM offered on an iPhone. It would also match the RAM on the recently launched Samsung’s S22 lineup.
An anonymous leaker shared this news with the username “yeux1122” on the Korean blogging site Naver. The source claims that a domestic supply chain source informed them that the parts related to the supply have already been confirmed with the manufacturing companies. The schedule for mass production is also proceeding faster than expected. He also added that the RAM in the new Galaxy S22 Flagship models would become the same as iPhone 14 Pro.
If the rumors happen to be accurate, the upcoming iPhone 14 Pro would have the highest amount of RAM in any iPhone previously released by Apple. The Cupertino-based giant is currently offering an option of 8GB or 16GB RAM on its 12.9-inch Pad Pro with an M1 chipset.
We can expect Apple to release the upcoming lineup of the iPhone by September of this year. The current rumors suggest that the iPhone 14 series would feature an under-display Face ID and a pill-shaped front camera. There might not be a 120Hz ProMotion display in the regular models as anticipated by the users.
